With origins in the foodservice industry that began in the 1890’s, Armada has a long history of providing innovative solutions for its clients. First established by the Hofmann family as North Side Foods five generations ago, the company led a series of landmark undertakings that changed the way the foodservice industry operates today.

Hub One Logistics, the first “arm” of the Armada family of companies, was formed in 1996, and from 2000 to 2003, it refined its processes to reach out to potential customers with new, much-needed services. By 2006, Armada's success with well-known, international clients led to greater opportunities and growth for both Hub One and Armada, which eventually led to the creation of BASIX and LXP.
